Paul Cezanne said: Light is a thing that cannot be reproduced, but must be represented by something else - colour". I moved away from the traditional way I used to paint and use cool colours for shadow and warm colour for light areas, creating and interesting and electrifying effect

Portraits are about creating a loving reflection for a person or animal. I've learned if someone asks me to do a portrait it is of someone they love and I strive to bring that love to the canvas.

I am inspired by nature. I love the light and colour reflected by the sun on plants and majestical trees, water, earth and sky.
